Heath Miller Mini-Golf Classic Raises Money For WTAE's Project Bundle-UpJune 27, 2008 The annual Heath Miller Mini-Golf Classic, proudly sponsored by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and RMU Island Sports Center, raised $14,000 on Wednesday night to benefit Salvation Army and Project Bundle-Up. "This is one of the events that, as players, is one of the most rewarding things we do during the year in the community," said Miller, the Pittsburgh Steelers' tight end. "So this just excites me to know that all these people are as encouraged and as enthused as we are." The event, held at RMU Island Sports Center on Neville Island, will help keep area children and senior citizens warm this winter. "It gives everyone an opportunity to help someone in need, and when you help kids and senior citizens, you just can't go wrong," Project Bundle-Up chairman Joe DeNardo said. "If the world's been good to you, this is a way to give back." Also taking part in the mini-golf were Channel 4 Action News anchors Michelle Wright and Andrew Stockey and reporters Marcie Cipriani, Amber Nicotra and Ashley DiParlo.
